I’ve been doing my CVS shopping early on Saturday mornings. Pros? No kids, so it’s easier to get in and out, pick through coupons, calculate in my head, etc. Cons? They’re often out of stock on the weekly sale items. I haven’t been able to do that toothpaste trick again because none of the stores have had toothpaste since Tuesday. I ended up getting a few monthly deals and miscellany:
12 Soy Joy bars 12.00 (no coupons–pout! but they’re still free)
2 All detergent 6.49 (I printed two $1 off coupons)
4 Bumble Bee Tuna 2.64 (I had a raincheck for .66/ea from a few weeks back)
1 Mylanta Chewables 3.00 on clearance (and I had a $2 off coupon)
1 Colgate Toothpaste 2.99 (1.50 off coupon)
2 CVS brand Bandages 3.98
1 Listerine Smart Rinse 3.49 (1.00 off coupon)
I used the manu coupons I had and about $25 in ECBs, but then I earned back $21.47 in ECBs, so that’s not bad. For more CVS reports, check out Denise’s blog.
