At some point I signed up for the Birthday Club at Toys R Us, where they send you a coupon a few week’s before your child’s birthday. I must have also checked that I wanted their promotional emails, because every once in a while I get a special offer like this $5 off $25 purchase coupon, good this weekend (June 20-21). If you don’t want to spend that much, how about a FREE Thomas train? This one’s good until July 5th, but it only prints once, so be ready when you click on it!

UPDATE: It looks like TRU has pulled the Thomas coupon from their website; on Slickdeals they’re talking about seeing 50+ people in stores expecting free trains. Silly Corporate level! Haven’t they heard of the “internet?” Here’s a GIF version you can print out, but I can’t guarantee it will work. I won’t be able to try it this weekend because of the twins being sick.
I went to TRU today for my free train and got it with no problem. I did pay 55 cents for tax — small price for an $11 train!
