I skipped Giant last week because there was nothing exciting in the ad and well, I was kind of obsessed with Safeway (I’m sure you didn’t notice). But this week’s ad looks a little better:
Boneless Chicken Breast is $1.99/lb in the big packs of 3lbs or more. The lowest this ever goes is $1.69/lb, so this is pretty good. I know I’ll be getting some as the freezer is almost empty.
Center Cut Pork Loin Chops are $1.99/lb in the big packs as well.
Coke 12pks are 4 for $10, and you get a free 12pk of Nestea bottles when you buy 4.
Edy’s Ice Cream is on sale for $2.50, and when you buy 4 you get a $4 coupon for your next purchase, so you’re really only paying $1.50 each. And everyone knows that when it’s that cheap the calories don’t count. With me on this one?
Ball Park Franks are BOGO at $4.99, and there was a coupon for $1 off in last Sunday’s paper 7/27.

First off, thanks for posting Giant deals! I’ve been searching the internets for someone who does for a while! Very glad to have found you!
Secondly, I was in my local Giant today (Laurel, MD) which is considered a “warehouse” meaning that things are usually a tiny bit cheaper than in other stores. Gerber 2nd stage 2-pack baby foods have been running $1.25 each so I was knocked off my rocker when I saw them for $0.99 each!! They weren’t even drawing attention to them with “new low prices” sticker. They were just as cheap as they’ve been anywhere in ages!
And not only that, but when I bought a bunch of them (with Gerber coupons, of course!), the Catalina machine spat out SIX Catalinas for $0.75 off my next order (on anything) and thanking me for buying Gerber 2nd stages!
Just thought I’d share that tip with any other MD-area Giant shoppers!

I have a love/hate relationship with Giant but I do try to post the deals every Friday. I mostly shop Safeway because each week the same items are on sale and they’re .50-1.00 MORE at Giant regularly. However, there’s a Giant on every corner, so it’s where I run for milk and fruit when I do my second trip every week.
Great job on the Gerber! I’ve often found unadvertised sales and clearance tags at Giant but I’m never ready with my coupons and can’t dig around when the kiddos are with me.
