Oh, this was so unlike me. I was browsing the after-holiday sales, saw these Christmas cards, and impulsively bought them. I don’t need Christmas cards; I still have a whole bunch from the 2007 after-holiday sales, and these aren’t even big enough to include 4×6 cards (my favorite money-saving holiday card idea). But the owls? They’re so cute! And they match the blog. What do you think? $2.49 down the drain? I can probably find that much if I cleaned out the couch cushions, right? Totally justifiable purchase…
Totally Unnecessary Purchase

I think they are really cute, match your blog, and don’t HAVE to be Christmas cards… can’t they qualify as winter note cards?
Love your blog!
Well, the inside does say “Happy Owlidays.” Terrible pun!
They are cute … if you’re at all regretting the purchase next December, you could always use them as a fun giveaway!!!! Otherwise, make use of them yourself and enjoy the “indulgence”.
This just shows that when you work really, really hard at saving money, and only buying what you absolutely need, it’s okay to spend a little something on a “fun stuff”.
Less than $3.00 for some Christmas cards that are SUPER cute is completely justified considering how much you’ve saved in the past. Use them on your Angel Tree donations next year, or to put your $$ in the collection basket at church. That’ll make them definitly worth it.

I knew you guys would approve.
I’m not beating myself up about spending $2.50. I’m learning to indulge here and there; it’s one of my New Year’s Resolutions.
Received one of these adorable cards this year…if I found them anywhere, I would buy them all!
