Safeway this week 4/15

NOTE: Safeway deals are also applicable to their partner stores: Dominicks, Genuardis, Vons, Pavilions, Tom Thumb, Randalls, and Carrs.

I’m doing a two-pronged approach to this week’s Safeway ad. Below, you’ll find the deals from the weekly ad, just the regular stuff. In the next post, you’ll see the details about the Living Well, Eating Right promo that starts today and runs through May 5. It’s big, so it needs it’s own post.

Bananas are .50/lb.

8-lb Bag of Navel Oranges is $4.99.

Red Seedless Grapes are .98/lb.

Fosters Farm Whole Chickens are .79/lb. You can do a lot with a whole chicken, and this is a great price. Limit 3 at this price.

Kraft Macaroni & Cheese is .59/box, limit 4. This is a participating product in the Living Well, Eating Right promo, so look for the next post on how to use this item as a filler to reach the $30 mark.

Buy any 3 Pepsi 12-pack soda and 2 bags of Tostitos or Doritos, and pay $9.99 for all five items.

Rice or Pasta Roni is .89 each, limit 6. RedPlum has a coupon for $1.00 off 3.

Safeway Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast or Thighs are $1.99/lb in the large packs (this is not the lowest price, but it’s okay).

Thomas’ Twin Pack English Muffins (this is a value pack with 12 in it) is just $1.99.

Tropicana Orange Juice and Trop 50 are $2.50 each. There was a $1.00 off coupon in the 3/15 paper for Trop 50, or you can print one here. This is a participating product in the Living Well, Eating Right promo, so if you plan to buy it (or several), have it count towards the $30 threshold.

There is a coupon on page 3 for a FREE reusable bag when you purchase $50 of groceries.

The pharmacy is offering a coupon for 10% off your next grocery purchase when you fill an allergy prescription like Allegra, Clarinex, Flonase, Singulair, etc.

For coupon matchups at stores nationwide, check out BeCentsAble’s Grocery Gathering. For the other Mid-Atlantic chains like Wegmans and Harris Teeter, go to Frugal in Virginia.

There are Pepsi 12 pk printables out there too. I think they are b2g1 free. So that would be good with the 9.99 deal.

I looked at the circular but can’t find the ad showing Tropicana is $2.50. Where did you see that? Thanks — you are awesome, this week and always! :)

Anon–It’s on the front page of my ad (Mid-Atlantic), and today in the store it was marked $2.50.

    LaVonne–thanks for the heads up!
