School is out in only 5 weeks, maybe less where you live! Are you planning ahead? One of the summer activities I’m most looking forward to is the many free and low-cost movie offerings. Last year, my twins were too young to sit through a movie, but this summer we’re going to give it a try. Here are some options–check each website to find a theater near you:
AMC Theatres offers Summer Movie Camp for $1.00/person, with proceeds going to the Will Rogers Institute.
Cinemark Theatres offers Summer Movie Clubhouse for $1.00/show or a $5.00 pass for the whole summer.
Classic Cinemas offers their Wednesday Morning Movie Series for $1.00/show.
Clearview Cinemas has FREE movies every Thursday at 10:30am starting in July.
Dickinson Theatres offers a Summer Vacation Movie Series for $2.50/show or $12.50 for the whole summer.
Harkins Theatres has Summer Movie Fun every weekday at 9:45, and it’s only $5.00 for the whole 10-movie series.
Kerasotes Theatres offers FREE movies every Wednesday and Thursday at 10:00am.
Malco Theatres offers $2.00 movies every Tuesday and Wednesday at 10:00am, with a portion of the proceeds going to local charities.
National Amusements will offer a summer movie program, but the info is not up on the website yet. Check back in a few weeks.
Rave Motion Pictures has their FREE Family Film Festival on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 10:00am.
Regal Theatres offer the FREE Family Film Festival all summer on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 10:00am. Choose from a G or PG movie each morning.
I can feel the air conditioning already…

OK…THAT is so incredibly AWESOME! Thank you so much for the information!
We love it, my family has been visiting the Regal in town for 4 years on those hot steaming summer days. This years choices are wonderful.
