Free Theme Park Admission for Military Families

While no amount of money or thanks is enough to honor our servicemen and women, both Disney and Anheuser-Busch are making an effort to salute our military families for their dedication and service:

Disney’s Armed Forces Salute program runs through December 23, 2009. Active U.S. military personnel and activated members of the National Guard or Reserves get FREE multi-day admission to Disney’s theme parks plus discounts at select resorts and hotels. Each active member is eligible for one complimentary 5-day ticket this year, and you can purchase a 5-day base ticket for $99 to cover up to five family members or friends (you can also pay to upgrade that to a Park-Hopper ticket). They also offer a 40% discount for select Disney Resort Hotels. For more details about the program and discounts, head over to Disney Military Sales.

Anheuser-Busch’s Here’s to the Heroes program runs through December 31, 2009. Active duty military from all five service branches, active members of a Reserve or National Guard Unit, and up to 3 dependents receive complimentary admission to all of the following parks, once each park each year:

A mom I know particularly enjoyed one perk at Sesame Place—the separate Hero Salute entrance. There was no waiting in line to enter the park! To register your family, go to HeroSalute.com.
