NOTE: Safeway deals are also applicable to their partner stores: Dominicks, Genuardis, Vons, Pavilions, Tom Thumb, Randalls, and Carrs.
One more note--I base my write-up on the ad I receive in the Mid-Atlantic. Your prices and coupons may differ in your region of the country. Here are the best deals I see this week:
Ball Park Meat Franks are .99. There was a $1.00/2 coupon in the 6/28 paper, so you'll get two packs for just .98.
Betty Crocker Supreme Brownie Mixes are $2.00 each. Use the .75/2 coupon from the 6/28 paper or here. You can also get .75 off from ShortCuts and .75 off from Cellfire by loading those e-coupons onto your Safeway card. You'll end up with two boxes for $1.00.
DiGiorno Flatbread Pizza is not on sale, but there is a Catalina promo running through July 12th. When you buy one at $5.99, you get a coupon for $1.00 off your next order. Combine that promo with this this printable $1.25 off coupon as well.
Hefty One-Zip Storage Bags are $1.25 each when you buy 4 (you must buy 4 to get the price, so be careful). If you have several of the $1.00 off coupons from the 5/17 paper, that's a great deal. Many of the boxes have peelies that say "Save .20 now," which will double at many Safeways, making each box only .85. This deal is running through October (the $1.25 wyb 4 price), so you may want to wait until new coupons come out if you don't have any). I'll be stocking up so I can donate them to our elementary school in the fall.
Kraft BBQ Sauce is .99, and there was a coupon for $1.00/2 in the 6/14 paper, so you get two bottles for .98.
Kraft Salad Dressing is $1.67, and there was a $1.00 off coupon in the 6/21 paper, so it's only .67.
Safeway Hot Dog and Hamburger Buns are .89.
Safeway Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast or Thighs are $1.99/lb in the Extreme Value Pack.
Tyson Grilled Chicken Breast Strips are BOGO at $3.99, and there was a $1.00/2 coupon in the 5/31 paper. These are great for lunch salads and quick summer dinners, but you can make them yourself for even less (and with no preservatives) by buying the $1.99/lb fresh chicken breast (above) and pre-cooking/freezing them yourself.
The 4-Day Sale runs July 1-4 and includes these sale prices plus some store coupons found in the weekly ad (you can usually pick it up in the doorway of the store):
- Breyers Ice Cream $2.29, limit 2. Use the $1.00/2 coupon from the 5/17 paper to get two containers for $3.58.
- Heinz Ketchup (large size) $1.99.
- Nabisco Snack Crackers $1.69.
- 12-Pack Coke, Pepsi or 7-up is $1.99 each when you buy five with in-ad coupon (you must buy 5).
- Lay's Potato Chips are 2 for $3.00 with in-ad coupon. There's a $1.00/2 coupon in the July All You magazine.
- Hellmann's Mayo is $1.99 with in-ad coupon. There was a coupon in the 6/28 paper.
- Kraft Singles are .99 with in-ad coupon. Many of the women's magazines (like Family Circle) have $1.00 off coupons inside, making them FREE.
- Kingsford Charcoal is $5.99 with in-ad coupon. You can save $6.00 on Pork with this printable coupon when you also buy one of the products listed on the coupon (KC Masterpiece, Hidden Valley Ranch, Match Light, Glad, Vlasic, Ball Park, or Wet Ones). Since Ball Park Franks are only .99, you can pick up the charcoal, some pork, and the franks for just .99 + price of the pork. Good deal!
There are several SuperCoupons found in-ad that are good through Tuesday, July 7th:
- Dawn Dish Detergent $2.49
- Dixie Value Pack Plates $2.99
- Colgate Toothpaste or Toothbrush $2.49. There was a $1.00 off coupon in the 6/28 paper, and you can get .75 off with Cellfire.
- Safeway Trash Bags $4.99
- Clorox Toilet Bowl Cleaner $1.79
- Duracell CopperTop Batteries $2.00 off. There was a $1.00 off coupon in the 6/28 paper, plus you can add $1.00 off at P&G eSaver.
Add E-coupons to your Safeway card three different ways at Shortcuts, Cellfire, and P&G eSaver. You can also print paper coupons at Safeway.com. I have used manufacturer's coupons on products and still seen the e-coupon savings appear on the receipt.
