Safeway this week 7/8

One more note–I base my write-up on the ad I receive in the Mid-Atlantic. Your prices and coupons may differ in your region of the country.

Wow, it’s a slow week at Safeway. Maybe they’re gearing up for a big summer promo? We can always hope:

Fresh Salmon Fillets are $5.99/lb and there’s a printable Safeway coupon for $3.00 off 2 lbs.

Yo-Plus Yogurt is $2.50. Use the $1.00 off coupon from the 6/7 paper or this printable, and load the $1.00 off at Shortcuts onto your Safeway card, to buy it for .50.

Lucerne Chunk or Shredded Cheese 2-lbs is $4.99. I will stock up on the shredded and freeze it.

Starbucks Ice Cream (the single serving size) is $1.00. Use the $1.00 off coupon from the 6/21 paper to get it FREE.

Hefty One-Zip Storage Bags are $1.25 each when you buy 4 (you must buy 4 to get the price, so be careful). If you have several of the $1.00 off coupons from the 5/17 paper, that’s a great deal. Many of the boxes have peelies that say “Save .20 now,” which will double at many Safeways, making each box only .85. This deal is running through October (the $1.25 wyb 4 price), so you may want to wait until new coupons come out if you don’t have any). I’ll be stocking up so I can donate them to our elementary school in the fall.

The 72-Hour Sale runs Friday through Sunday and includes these sale prices:

• 73% Lean Ground Beef Chub $1.59/lb in a 3-lb. package.
• Kellogg’s Cocoa Krispies .99, limit 1. Use the $1.00 off coupon from the 6/7 paper to get it FREE.
• All American Sub Sandwich $5.99 for a foot-long from the deli.
• Lipton Iced Tea 12-pk $3.99, limit 4.

You can get FREE Milk when you buy General Mills Cereal through July 9. See the details and coupon match-ups here. Unfortunately, the prices went up to $3.29-4.49 for the cereal.
UPDATE: I called Catalina today and confirmed that the deal ended yesterday, July 7.

There’s a Catalina promo running through July 26 on Kraft Macaroni and Cheese: Buy 4, Get $1; Buy 5, Get $1.50; or Buy 6 or more, get $2.00 off your next order. You’ll want the Buy 3, Get 1 Free coupon from the 6/28 paper, and boxes are currently $1.00 at Safeway. If you buy 4, you’ll get them for.50 each after coupon and Cat.

Add E-coupons to your Safeway card<> three different ways at Shortcuts, Cellfire, and P&G eSaver. You can also print paper coupons at Safeway.com. I have used manufacturer’s coupons on products and still seen the e-coupon savings appear on the receipt.
