Fall Consignment Sales

The Northern Virginia consignment sale season will soon be underway. Shopping consignment sales is one of the main ways I save on kids’ clothes by buying them used. You can also find seasonal items like Halloween costumes, winter coats and boots, holiday dresswear and other items for pennies on the dollar compared to buying new. Click on each organization’s website for hours and directions. Here are the major sales for NoVA in order by sale date:

• Loudon/Fairfax Mothers of Multiples, Sterling, VA–September 12
• Northern Virginia Parents of Multiples, Arlington, VA–September 12
• Fairfax County Mothers of Multiples, Chantilly, VA–Saturday, September 19**
• Prince William Mothers of Multiples, Manassas, VA–Saturday, September 19
• Christ Church Children’s Consignment Sale, Fairfax Station, VA–Saturday, October 3
• Dani’s Duds, Chantilly, VA–October 10-11
• Classy Kids Consignment Sale, Manassas, VA–October 21-25

These are the largest sales in my area of Northern Virginia. For the Maryland side of DC and smaller area sales, check the list at Our Kids.
