If you’ve been reading Moneywise Moms for any amount of time, you know I am a Safeway shopper. I’ve been a Safeway shopper for years (and a Vons shopper in LA before that). I’ve been blogging about the weekly sales and coupon matchups and the big national promos for almost two years now. I’m very familiar with my local stores, so I was thrilled when I was contacted to tell you about their new price reduction program happening in the DC and Baltimore Metro areas (you’ll see why in a moment). This program has already rolled out in Northern California, Florida, and the Chicago area. Look for the yellow tags in every aisle with new low everyday prices, and in some cases, an even lower price because the item is on sale. If you’re local to DC or Baltimore, be sure and try for the big prizes through the radio contest running this week. Pick up your car decal, and good luck!
