Safeway this week 11/11

NOTE: Safeway deals are also applicable to their partner stores: Dominicks, Genuardis, Vons, Pavilions, Tom Thumb, Randalls, and Carrs. However, I base my write-up on the ad I receive in the Mid-Atlantic. Your prices and coupons may differ in your region of the country.

Cottonelle 12pk Toilet Tissue is $4.99 when you buy 3 (or any combination of 3 of the participating Mix & Match items: Gain, Purex 3-in-1, Downy, Bounce, Thirsty Paper Towels. See the ad page 5 for the products.

Dole Pineapple is $1.00/can, and there was a $1.00/3 coupon in the 11/8 paper on Sunday.

Green Giant Canned Vegetables are just .39/can. That’s a great price, and if you don’t use canned veggies yourself, please pick up a few (a lot!) for your local food bank. Most schools are running food drives right now for the holidays. Thanks!

The Kellogg’s Mini Wheats Catalina promo runs through November 19, giving you a coupon for a FREE Gallon of Milk when you buy 3 Mini Wheats. They’re priced at $2.49 right now, and there is a $1.00 printable coupon for the Little Bites variety.

Pork Loin Chops are $1.88/lb in the Extreme Value Pack. Hmm…maybe that’s why I have Pineapple Pork Chops on my meal plan this week.

Progresso Vegetable Classics Soup is $1.00/can, and there was a $1.00/4 coupon in the 11/8 paper on Sunday or you can print this $1.10/3.

Ritz Crackers are BOGO at $3.79. The 11/8 coupon insert on Sunday had a $1.00 off any Nabisco Cracker coupon.

Ziploc Bags are still $2.50. There are no coupons out right now, but when you buy 3 you can submit for that $5.00 SC Johnson rebate.

The Home for the Holidays Promo continues through November 29. With each $25 purchase of participating products, you’ll receive a $5.00 off your next order Catalina coupon. There is a huge PDF list of participating products, and you can check my Linky for scenarios and results.

This Saturday and Sunday only, you can get Tostitos Tortilla Chips for $1.69/bag and Quaker Instant Oatmeal for $1.50, limit 6.

Add E-coupons to your Safeway card four different ways at Shortcuts, Softcoin, Cellfire, and P&G eSaver. You can also print paper coupons at Safeway.com. I have used manufacturer’s coupons on products and still seen the e-coupon savings appear on the receipt.

For coupon matchups at stores nationwide, check out BeCentsAble’s Grocery Gathering. For the other Mid-Atlantic chains like Wegmans and Harris Teeter, head over to Frugal in Virginia.

    Hi Gina,

I'm new to Safeway and coupons. I have a several stores not to far from me but other stores are closer like Giant, Shoppers and Aldi. I tend to buy from those stores most of the time. A friend of mine pointed out a pretty good deal at Safeway. Let me know what you think.

Ad Nov 15-21 – coupon on the back $7.99 "Pampers or Huggies Jumbo Diapers" with card and coupon Limit 4. Combine that with the $1, $2 or $3 select Huggies coupons and they come out to $6.99, $5.99 or even $4.99 a pack! Does that make sense?

If I were to buy 3 for $7.99 = $23.97 does that mean I hit the requirement? Or is it added up before the coupon so 3 for $9.99 each = $29.97?
"Minimum $20 per purchase qualifies you for all coupons."

Any good online coupons to add to the deal on the safeway club card?

    Thanks much!
