To do this deal, you’ll need to sign up as a Staples Rewards member. I’ve been using Staples Rewards for years. I take in my empty printer ink cartridges and get $3.00 back each time. Then I earn Staples Rewards on my purchases (even those .01 deals in August!) and use the Rewards again and again. You’ll also receive offers by email and regular mail for signing up, and the coupons can be great–like $20 off $100 purchase–good when they have deals on cameras and such. For this battery deal, your reward will be mailed to you in January. It will look like a check and it can only be used at Staples. I usually use mine to pay for printer ink.

I wanted to let you know that right now until Dec 19, you can get double rewards on ink (20%) and cartridges ($6) with $50 in ink purchase. I was grumpy with DH for forgetting to drop off the ink last week, but now I'm glad he did! LOL.
