Boneless Pork Loin Roast is $1.99/lb in the Extreme Value Pack. Last month, I bought one (it was about 2 1/2 lbs) to try the Mango Pork with Wild Rice Pilaf, which was fantastic. I cut the loin to use just half that night, then sliced the rest into medallions for our night of Pineapple Pork this week.

Beef 7-Bone Chuck Roast is $1.69/lb, and there are a couple of slow cooker meals I’ve been wanting to try. Both this Slow Cooker Beef Bourguignon and Simple Cranberry Roast recipes sound good to me. There’s also a printable $2.00 off coupon at Safeway.com.

Lucerne Shredded or Chunk Cheese 8oz. is $1.49.

Pillsbury Refrigerated Cookie Dough is $1.99/each with in-ad SuperCoupon, limit 2. There is a $1.00/2 Shortcuts e-coupon, $1.00/2 Cellfire e-coupon, a printable $1.00/2 coupon and a $1.00/2 from the 12/6 insert.

Halls Cough Drops are $1.00. There was a .50/1 or $1.00/2 coupon back in the 11/8 paper that you may still have.

There’s a Buy 5, Save $5 Mix & Match Sale on Nabisco Crackers. Use this printable $1.00/2 coupon or any others you have combined with the promo. There’s also a $10 mail-in rebate when you buy 10 boxes, making them FREE. Make sure you buy in quantities of 5 to get the instant savings at the register:

  • Cheese Nips, Macaroni & Cheese Crackers are .99 each with the promo
  • Wheat Thins, Triscuits, Premium Saltines, Chicken in a Biskit, Better Cheddars, and Toasted Chips are $1.49 when you buy them as part of the 5.
  • Honey Maid, Ritz, and Stoned Wheat Thins are $1.99 with the promo

The Buy 5, Save $5 Mix & Match Sale on Kraft Cheeses is still running from last week. Use these printable coupons combined with the promo:

  • Kraft Shredded or Chunk Cheese 6-8oz. is $1.49 when you buy it as part of the 5.
  • Philly Cream Cheese is .99 with the promo.
  • Kraft Singles are $2.99 with the promo.
  • Breakstone Cottage Cheese 4pk is $1.29 with the promo.

From Dec. 2- Dec. 15, Buy two iTunes Multipacks and get $15 off a future shopping trip. This is only a DEAL if you actually use the gift cards.

Add E-coupons to your Safeway card four different ways at Shortcuts, Softcoin, Cellfire, and P&G eSaver. You can also print paper coupons at Safeway.com. I have used manufacturer’s coupons on products and still seen the e-coupon savings appear on the receipt.

For coupon matchups at stores nationwide, check out BeCentsAble’s Grocery Gathering. For the other Mid-Atlantic chains like Wegmans and Harris Teeter, head over to Frugal in Virginia.

I checked out the Breakstone Sour Cream when I was in Safeway this week (Vienna, VA) and it was priced at $2.30 I believe and was part of the buy 5, save $5. If the 55 cent coupon from the kraft coupon link doubles, the sour cream winds up being 20 cents after coupon and $5 discount (when you buy 5). I plan to try it this weekend.

Do you know where to find the Safeway coupon acceptance policy? This morning they told me that I could not use more than one like coupon (only one Nabisco cracker coupon, only one Pillsbury cookie dough coupon, only one Kraft cheese coupon). The written policy the checker had said that they only allow one "copy" per coupon. They were not coupons that would double, as they were $1 coupons. Do you know anything about this?

Here is the corporate policy via the website:

    http://www.safeway.com/IFL/Grocery/Coupons-Policy

Some of the stores in NoVa have been telling people the "one only" thing, but it seems to depend on the cashier. I get a different answer every time I ask, so now I've printed the policy out from the website and take it with me. I try to get checked out by a manager, and they have accepted all my IPs.

    Gina,

Thanks for your comment. I had looked at the web site you suggested, but the checker I had today had a piece of paper that had different rules printed on it. She was the only checker and I had not seen her before. I will wait and see what happens the next time I visit Safeway.

I want to play by the rules but it is challenging when they keep changing, are applied inconsistently, and not readily available.

Thank you for your blog. I appreciate all the good deals that you share with your readers.
