We measured 20 inches in the front of the house, and now both work and school have been called off. So we’re doing a lot of this:

And while some were napping, we made wreath cookies out of Corn Flakes:
And then some Meatball Soup and homemade bread sounded good for dinner (I’ll share that recipe with you tomorrow). It’s time to slow down, cuddle with kids-in-footie-pajamas, and stay warm.

I miss footie pajamas….we always called them bear suits because our daughter looked like a fuzzy little teddy bear in them. They don't make them too much in the big kid sizes…
I saw footie pajamas at Target for adults! Only $20! Super fun…almost did it as a Chinese Christmas Party gift!
Whew! what a weekend! We live near you in No. VA. Who would have thought so much snow here! I moved here from Maine to escape the winter messes. But the family is certainly keeping warm and happy snuggled close together inside after sledding out in the white stuff! Happy Holidays to you and your family.
