Staying Warm: Frugal Fun for Kids

Whether you’re stuck inside because of the snow or just have the kids home for the winter break, you probably need some activities to keep busy. Here’s a look back at some of my Frugal Fun posts:

Recycled Puzzle: Reuse those toy catalogs or magazines

Packing Peanuts: Make pictures with styrofoam from your packages

Inexpensive Art Supplies: Use common household object to make objets d’art

Beans: We use beans for measuring, pouring, scooping, etc. as well as art. Of course, my son has taught the twins to sing the “Beans, beans, the magical fruit” song. Sigh.

What are you doing to keep busy on long winter days?
