Good news! Today’s weekly ad for Giant shows that P&G Catalina promo running another full week. If you didn’t have a chance to try it last week, try it this week. Buy $30 of participating P&G products and get a $10 Catalina coupon for your next purchase–and the pre-sale shelf price counts for the $30 threshold. I’ve been back (of course!) to get more TP and was happy to see that Tide came in a perfume-free variety.
Since the regular price of Tide is $8.49, you only need 4 to hit the $30 threshold. I had two $1.00/2 coupons, but even without coupons the deal comes out great. After the sale price, it’s $20.00 at the register, and you get the $10 Cat back. 4 bottles for $10 (or $8 with the coupons). Super cheap Tide!
If you have trouble receiving your Catalina coupon (this can occur when the machine is blinking or broken), you have a couple of options:
1) Go to your store’s Customer Service desk and tell them you didn’t get it. More often than not, they’ll just give you the $10. However–because we’re using shelf prices and not the sale prices, they may argue (if they even ask) that you didn’t hit the $30 mark.
2) Call Catalina Marketing at 1-888-8COUPON (1-888-826-8766) and either leave a voicemail message or talk to a real person. They’ll ask for some information off your receipt and look up your transaction, then mail you the coupon you’re owed. They are very quick to respond and have always been very helpful.
AND…running through Sunday, January 24th, buy 5 participating Kraft Cheese and get a $5.00 Catalina coupon for your next purchase. The Breakstone Cottage Doublers (it’s a single-sized pack of cottage cheese with a fruit mixin) are on sale for $1.00 and work with this deal, so you can get five for FREE. I’ve been buying the bags of Kraft Shredded Cheese (make sure you get the regular, not the 2% Milk variety–now I hear those work fine?). There’s also a printable .55 off Breakstone Sour Cream coupon that should double, making this very cheap. My store hasn’t had any signage on this deal, but my readers left comments about it here. Thanks, ladies!
