You’ve read about meal planning again and again, and I still contend that it’s one of the easiest ways to save money on your monthly budget. As an added benefit–it reduces stress and helps you and your family eat healthier. If you’re not at a place to do your own home cooking most nights, that’s fine; meal planning can include convenience foods and eating out. But the process of planning what you’ll eat in a week (and you can keep it flexible, nothing is set in stone here), encourages you to make ONE trip to the store, to have what you need on hand, and to not spend time/stress during the day thinking about what to make. For those of you who haven’t tried Meal Planning before, this is your week. Let me walk you through it with this video:
One more note–it’s not important which grocery store ad you use; you may have different stores in your area. The process is the same. I hope you’ll give it a try!
