About this time last year, I challenged my readers to take their couponing and grocery shopping skills and do good for others. It’s time for us to do it again, and this time, please consider including your children. Many schools participate in a food drive this month, so your kids will be encouraged at school as well. Buying non-perishable groceries to donate to your local food bank is an age-appropriate way to start children on charitable giving.
Here’s how you can participate in the Challenge:
- Set aside $10 this month and work your couponing/deals/promo magic to get the most you can. Shop anywhere–grocery store, drugstore, Walmart, Target, etc.
- If you’re a blogger, please post a photo of your $10 purchase along with my orange Food Bank Challenge button (or at least a link). Encourage your readers to join us in this important community service!
- If you’re not a blogger, please share your details in the Comments section below. I’d love to see your photo by email if you take one. Please pass the word around to your family and friends. Think about the impact we can make if we each contribute!
Everyone who links up here or posts their results in the comments will be eligible for a special PRIZE from me! I will be choosing 3 random winners on Tuesday, November 30th.
See an example of how to post your results. Thanks for joining in!
