Yard sale season has started in my area, and I tried a few this morning:
I wanted some extra swimsuits to get us through the long summer, and these two for $5 (one’s a Speedo) were in excellent condition. The winter boots were just a bonus–just $1 each for Land’s End and Columbia snow boots. If they don’t fit this fall, I’ll sell them (for $5-6) at a consignment sale and make a few dollars on each. As I’m shopping this summer, I’ll keep an eye out for underpriced items like that; if you have the dollars to spare and a little storage space, you can save up the items and sell them for profit later in the season.

Nice scores, you did great on these! Not shopping for anything this year as we need to thin out our excess items. I usually pick up a few books at our library book sale and then pass them on but I am a little behind with my reading. Will wait for the fall sale and then pick up my winter reading!
