Stream Amazon Instant Video through your XBox 360

I was really glad to hear this news! Now XBox 360 owners can stream Amazon Instant Video right through their XBox. You do need to be an XBox Live Gold subscriber. If you have a Prime membership with Amazon, you have unlimited instant streaming of thousands of movies and TV shows. There’s also a Watchlist feature, which is a queue you can set up to keep shows/movies on hand to watch later.

We quit Netflix back when they changed their fee structure around, so I’m going to give this a try. Let me know how it works for you!

    I stream it through my Roku player and love it! Decent selection of free stuff, and most of their rentals are pretty cheap too, if you’re looking for something not on the free list.

    Do you have to have a prime membership?

      You don’t have to have a Prime membership to use the feature; it’s available to anyone with an XBox and a Live Gold membership. Prime members get access to more free TV/Movies, though.
