Highlights Magazine just $17/year

Highlights Magazine

I’m so excited to see this since it’s so hard to get a deal on Highlights Magazine! At daily deal site Eversave, get a 1-year subscription to Highlights Magazine or High Five Magazine for just $17. This makes a great gift! You may buy up to 5 deals, but they cannot be combined for multiple years. You may purchase to renew an existing subscription as long as the same address is used for renewal.

Both Highlights (for school-aged kids) and High Five (for preschoolers) are huge hits at our house! I love that my younger kids enjoy the age-appropriate puzzles, poems and stories in High Five. Highlights is still as it was when I loved it as a kid–filled with both fiction and non-fiction, Hidden Pictures (my favorite!), and craft projects. Get your subscription deal at Eversave.

LeftLane Sports Deals

I’m surprised it took this long for the sports world to get their own daily deal site. LeftLane Sports is great for those of you who exercise (ahem) and do crazy things like triathlons (my sister and brother-in-law). They are always shopping for big brands like Wetsuit, Puma, Saucony, and KEEN. So far, I’m only seeing deals for Men and Women (not kids), but it’s a great way to get up to 70% off on outdoor and fitness brands. Sign up with LeftLane for a daily deal email. They offer FREE shipping every day on orders over $75.

Please Touch Museum Tickets just $9

Please Touch Museum

LivingSocial is running their half-price Please Touch Museum ticket deal again! Please Touch is a wonderful children’s museum in Philadelphia. This $9 ticket includes a Carousel Ride. My kids loved the role playing areas–the restaurant, grocery store, etc.–along with the River Adventure water area and Flight Fantasy Room.

Normal ticket price is $15 per person over age 1, and the carousel is $3/ride. That makes $9/ticket a great deal! Parking at the museum is FREE.

The limit is 8 tickets purchased per person, and your tickets are good through September 30, 2012. Head to LivingSocial DC, then scroll down to see the Please Touch offer. Looks like it’s available through Tuesday.

Half Price Tickets to Please Touch Museum in Philadelphia

Please Touch Museum

I’ve been waiting for this deal! Living Social has half-price tickets to the Please Touch Museum in Philadelphia. This is a fantastic children’s museum, and that’s a great price–just $9 for an admission ticket that includes a Carousel Ride. We visited the Please Touch Museum a few years ago, and I’ve been wanting to go back now that my kids are older and can enjoy the exhibits a little differently. There’s a lot of science mixed in with the exhibits, and there’s plenty to do for older kids and adults. My young twins loved the role playing areas–the restaurant, grocery store, etc., while my son (and husband) could have spent all day experimenting with water in the River Adventure.

The cost is the only reason we haven’t gone back; it’s normally $15 per person over age 1, and the carousel is $3/ride. Parking in Fairmount Park is free. That’s why I consider $9/ticket a good deal!

The limit is 8 tickets purchased per person, and your tickets are good through September 30, 2012. Head to LivingSocial Baltimore, then scroll down to see the Please Touch offer.
