Triple Coupons at Harris Teeter

Mid-Atlantic readers, Harris Teeter is doing Triple Coupons (tripling coupons up to .99 face value!) Wednesday, May 16th through Tuesday, May 22nd. The limit is 20 coupons per customer, per day, with a limit of three like coupon and two like IP coupons per transaction. You’ll also need a VIC card (you can apply for one if you don’t have one). Be sure and read their coupon policy so you’re familiar with it. Your best bet is to use any .75 off coupons you have, since they’ll triple to $2.25 off!

Coupon Teacher has a list of a dozen completely FREE items and over 35 items under $1, like these highlights:

Silk Soymilk 64oz. is on sale for $2.59. Use the .75 off printable coupon and pay just .34, or use the .55 off coupon from the 4/15 SmartSource insert and pay 94 cents.
Mott’s Applesauce Cups are on sale for $2.45. Use the .55 off coupon from the 5/13 SmartSource insert, and you’ll pay just .80 for a six-pack. Great price for lunchbox treats!
Reynolds Wrap Foil is $3.79. Use the .75 off coupon from the 5/13 SmartSource, and you’ll pay just $1.54.

Meal Plan Monday: Home Cooking

Hope you had a great weekend! My mom is visiting for the week, so I know we’ll be eating meatballs. That’s the one thing my kids said when I asked “What would you like to do when Memaw is visiting?” “Make meatballs!” After a weekend of traveling and restaurant eating, good old-fashioned home cooking sounds great to me:

Sunday–Chicken sausage sauteed with mushrooms, onions, red pepper and zucchini over pasta/quinoa
Meatless Monday–Italian Spinach Pie, salad
Tuesday–Spaghetti and meatballs, green beans, salad
Wednesday–Beef Tacos (from the freezer), corn shells/flour tortillas, tomato, lettuce, black beans
Thursday–Spinach & Feta Omelets, rosemary potatoes, watermelon
Friday–Salsa Verde Chicken, brown rice, black beans
Saturday–BBQing with neighbors, probably chicken or whatever’s left in the fridge by the end of the week

Happy Mother’s Day!

Rather than relax, be fed breakfast in bed, etc. I decided it was a great idea to spend 8+hours in the car with my family this weekend. Ha!

We’re off to Philly to celebrate Mother’s Day with my sister (her first!), my other sister (her second!) and my mom (her 40th!). The kids are excited to meet the new baby, and we’re hoping to get to the Crayola Factory while we’re up that way.
