I base my write-up on the Washington DC area weekly ad.
Lucerne Large Eggs 18ct. is $1.49 with in-ad SuperCoupon, limit 2. These used to be only .99. Still a good price for this area.
Gala Apples are .99/lb.
Bright Green Laundry Detergent 150oz. is Buy 2, Get 1 Free priced at $13.99. If you go to Safeway.com, you can load two Bright Green e-coupons onto your Club Card, one for $2.00 off Laundry Detergent and one for .50 off any BG product.
Cheez-It Crackers are $2.49/box, and you can print a .75 off coupon for the Duos variety. You may also find $2.00/2 coupons on a tearpad in the cracker aisle (I saw them at Giant).
Lucerne Natural Cheese Slices are $1.99/pack with in-ad SuperCoupon, limit 3.
Prego Pasta Sauce is $1.50, and there was a $1.00 off coupon in the 2/7 insert.
SoBe Lifewater is .99, and you can print a BOGO coupon.
There is a Buy 5, Save $5 instantly promo running through April 20th. Here’s a list of participating items (click on the cereal picture at the bottom), but check your store shelves for tags as well. Check your coupon stash, and here are some printable matchups:
- $1.00 after promo: Pop Tarts
- $1.50 after promo: Cheerios 14oz., Chex Mix Bars, Kellogg’s Fiber Plus Bars, Nature Valley Nut Clusters, Post Raisin Bran, Post Shredded Wheat, Rice Krispies, Nature Valley Granola Bars, Quaker Instant Oatmeal. You can print a coupon for $1.00/2 Cheerios (and $1.00/box is good for that size). You can also print a .40 off NV Granola Bars. Quaker’s website has a “Create Your Day” where you get a $1.00 off coupon at the end (it takes a while, but worth it for .50 oatmeal).
- $2.00 after promo: Crispix, Honey Bunches of Oats, Kellogg’s Raisin Bran, Mini Wheats, Nutri-Grain Bar. You can print a $1.00/2 Mini Wheats coupon. There was a $1.00/2 Crispix or Raisin Bran coupon in the 4/11 insert.
When you buy $25 of Procter & Gamble products in a single transaction, you’ll get a $10 Catalina coupon for your next order. The fine print in the ad says that the $25 purchase excludes Safeway store coupons, loaded e-coupons, and manufacturer coupons, etc. so that pretty much makes this a useless promo. I will keep an eye on the Slickdeals Safeway thread, but so far it looks like the Cats aren’t printed when your coupon total takes you below $25.
When you buy two $25 Applebee’s Gift Cards, you’ll get a Catalina coupon for $5 off your next shopping order. This offer is great if you eat at Applebee’s anyway, and it runs through April 24th.
There’s another coupon in this week’s ad for a FREE Reusable Shopping Bag with $40 purchase.
Add E-coupons to your Safeway card three different ways at Shortcuts, Cellfire, and P&G eSaver. You can also print paper coupons or load them to your Club Card at Safeway.com. I have used manufacturer’s coupons on products and still seen the e-coupon savings appear on the receipt.
