Get out and experience America with a National Parks Senior Pass that will benefit the whole family.
If you have a grandparent or other senior (62 or older) in your life, let them know that the price of a Lifetime Senior Pass to America’s National Parks is still $10, but only through August 27th. After that, the price will increase to $80.
Then, plan to get out and enjoy over 2,000 National Parks with your senior(s). Travelling companions can enter for free, since a Senior Pass covers the owner plus passengers in the car for sites that charge per-vehicle fees. At a site with per-person fees, the owner plus three adults are admitted free (children under 16 are always admitted free).
- Purchase a Senior Pass at a federal recreation area near you, and it only costs $10.
- If you choose to purchase by mail, there is a $10 processing fee, so the total is $20.
Our National Parks are such a wonderful resource, and they’re great for making memories with the whole family. All proceeds from senior pass sales are spent on visitor-related projects and programs.
Where will you travel with your National Parks Senior Pass?
I’ve shared my tips for Visiting National Parks over at Little Family Adventure. We especially love how each park offers a Junior Ranger Program.
